I'm a new guy, one who started accumulating domains a couple of years ago. I have 14,700+ domains presently, of which only 257 are Geo-related, some only barely so; I wish I began accentuating Geo domains, instead of mostly adult ones, MANY years ago while some good one-word and two-word Geo domain were still available!
Many of my Geo domains relate to cities/locations in the Middle East, where I was assigned while in the U.S. Army in the late 70s --in Arabic, there are sounds but no strict spellings, e.g., the Saudi city of Jeddah (which sold for $35,000 a year or two ago--I was not involved in any way) is also recognized when spelled Jiddah, Jidda, or Jedda. Cities like Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, etc also have multiple spellings.
I'm a retired military guy now involved in domains and the Adult Entertainment Industry under the stage name "Dave Cummings". I've lived in San Diego since 1989, and absolutely love it here.
