What would Manhattan.com be worth just as a geo-domain? The reason I ask is to make a price comparison with a geo-domain
I'm looking to sell. I can't reveal the name unfortunately as it could cause negotiation issues. Manhattan.com will be a great comparison. Please help!

Thanks

I always reply a name is only as good as the buyer lol
with regards manhattan.com its a nice site.
It all depends in what its earning the name might earn $400.000 a year with right management behind it.
might only earn $400  a year on google addwords.
you need to work on lots of factors to work out the value of a name.

population
businesses
holiday location
airport
property
net worth people
tourist attraction
hotels-accommodation
what its near

manhattan is tough because it is not a term used by most people. most people say "new york" or New york city".

I think a good value on Manhattan.com can be achieved as it is quite niche which helps you to drill down your content. Surely people will type the name in and also use it in search. I think the best value can be brought out of this name by looking at what people would be looking for information on.

When looking for Manhattan you would be looking for property for sale or rent (high end) or hotel accommodation for your business meeting (high end) or just the details of a local restaurant (mostly high end)

Pure advertising might be a way to go about it but I reckon if you offered a specialised service with local knowledge / connections to get you in to those restaurants / clubs and to get you discounts or a room when none are available would make your site as niche as the name of the site itself, thereby creating a site that will be used all the time because of your "local" or insider knowledge and a great service that could be offered at a premium rather than a discount as is always so widely associated with the net

Just my 2 cents
